This Ramadan, come experience what community should feel like.

Join us every night in Ramadan for a community iftar (dinner) to break your fast.

Our programs are free and open to everyone in the community, so bring your family and friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the community or have been here for years; whether you're fasting or not fasting; if you are Muslim or come from another walk of life: we welcome everyone!

It’s all part of what makes the Islamic Center special, and what will make your Ramadan in NYC unforgettable.

How Can I Attend Events at the IC?

Everyone is welcome to attend all of our events. However, per New York University policy, all non-NYU guests must request access to enter any NYU building.

1. Fill Out Our Form

All non-NYU guests (including alumni and former faculty or staff) must submit our Building Access Form BEFORE ARRIVING in order to be approved for entry into any NYU building. NOTE: You must enter your full first and last name AS IT APPEARS ON YOUR ID.

2. Wait For An Email

Once you submit our Building Access Form, you will need to wait for a confirmation email. This may take up to one day. If you arrive without submitting the form, we cannot guarantee that your submission will be processed immediately.

3. Present Your ID

Upon arrival, you'll need to present a physical, government-issued photo ID. A digital copy or photo will not be accepted. The name on your ID must match the name you used on the form. If you don't meet these conditions, you won't be allowed in the building. No exceptions.

Visit the IC. All are welcome.
