For the first time ever, the Islamic Center at NYU will be hosting a 3 week summer intensive program on the Quran!
Program Highlights :
Recitation, memorization and commentary on surahs al-Rahman (55), al-Waqiah (56) and al-Hadid (57)
Explanation of the rules related to Tajweed: the science of recitation
Qur'anic supplications
Introduction to Qur'anic Arabic
Ulum al-Qur'an
Price: $600 - includes all books, course materials and lunch. Financial Aid and Scholarships are available (more info below)
Dates: Monday thru Thursday, July 1st - July 20th, 10:00AM to 6:00PM
The application deadline is June 10th, or until all seats are filled. Students will be considered and notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis.
