Zayd ibn Khalid reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:

مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا

"Whoever helps break the fast of a fasting person, he will have the same reward as him, without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person."

  • NOTE: All pre-iftar halaqas, iftars, 'Isha, and Taraweeh (extra) prayers will take place either in the Grand Hall or in the Rosenthal Pavilion

    Grand Hall Days: April 11-13, April 15, 16, 18, and 20
    Rosenthal Days : April 14, 17, 19, and 21

    Other halaqas will take place in the IC Prayer Room.

    The Grand Hall is located on the 5th floor of the Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, 238 Thompson St, New York, NY 10012.

    The Rosenthal Pavilion is located on the 10th floor of the Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012.

    The IC Prayer Room is located on the 4th floor (room 472) of the Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, 238 Thompson St, New York, NY 10012.

    All guests are required to fill out the visitor access form by clicking here.

    Once this form is complete, you will be entered into the NYU visitor system and will be able to enter our facilities by presenting a govt. issued ID card that matches the name that you filled out the form with.

    Please note that a physical ID is necessary to gain access to the building and a virtual ID will no longer be acceptable.
